Hi there, I’m Scott Nathanson.  I’m a devoted husband, Dad of two boys (Gus & Gunnar), little-league baseball coach, and first class nerd.  I have made my life’s work trying in my own little ways to make the world a better place.  My educational amblings took a major turn in 1990 when I was taught conflict resolution by on of the pioneers in the field, Dr. Dudley Weeks.  After working at such “lefty” organizations as Peace Action, Demilitarization for Democracy, and the Union of Concerned Scientists, I thought I’d take a little time to go back to my conflict resolution and pop-culture nerd roots with this blog.  It will, hopefully give both me and the readers an outlet to think about how our ways of entertaining and educating both ourselves and our kids can be done in a way that can empower us all cooperatively, but always with fun in mind.
